CBR theory exam for moped
To be able obtain the driving licence for the snorfiets, moped, scooter, speed pedelec or brommobiel, you must first take the CBR theory exam for moped. To be able to do that, it is important to practise the moped theory well. The CBR theory exam for moped consists of 50 questions. To pass the theory exam, you must answer at least 43 questions correctly. So, make sure you practise your moped theory thoroughly! When you finish the exam, you will immediately hear whether you have passed or failed.
Question types
The exam consists of different types of questions. For example, multiple choice questions with three answers, or yes/no questions. With some questions you must fill in a number. You can also get hotspot questions, where you must select the correct image. You also have drag-and-drop questions, where you must drag numbers or a checkmark to the correct position. You have the possibility to mark questions. For example, to revisit them later during the exam. You can also briefly skip questions or go back to a previously answered question. Moped practice exams

You will not only get more time, by also take the exam in a separate room. This way you will be less distracted by others. An employee from the CBR is in the room with you, who can help you when you do not understand something. It may be nice to have that extra time when practising exams. Dyslexia
Just as at the CBR, while practising the theory, you can have the theory exams read to you (audio). If you have dyslexia, this way of practising your moped theory can make a big difference. To increase the chance of passing your theory exam, we have listed a number of moped theory practise tips for you below:
- Take your time to study. The exam is difficult and when you have paid a lot of attention to the theory, you will feel more confident about it
- Carefully read the questions. Some questions are phrased in a tricky way, which could cause you to make a mistake
- Take your time and do not linger if you do not know something. With the sections knowledge and insight you can leaf through the questions. When you do not know the answer to a question immediately, you can skip it and come back to it later
- Do practice exams. This is the only way with which you will get a clear picture of what the exam will look like. Because you are already used to the way questions are asked, you will know exactly what to expect

What is the best way to practise the moped theory?
The best way to practise for the moped theory exam is to follow these steps:
- Study in a low stimulus environment. Make sure that you are not distracted!
- Start learning early, at least a few weeks in advance, and not just a few days before the exam.
- Find someone who you can study with. This is more fun than alone, and you can test each other.
- Reward yourself when you finish studying. For example, with some ice cream or a tasty snack. This way, you have something to look forward to when you find it difficult to study.
- Do not study out of books, but study digitally. It is not only easier to practise your moped theory online, but you also have a much better chance of passing first time.
How should you practice for the moped theory exam?
There are two ways to practise for the moped theory exam. The first is studying with books. You then have one book with theory and one book with questions. The easiest way to study is the second way to practise, and that is doing it digitally. You will learn faster and more easily, greatly increasing your chances of success.
What do you really need to know for the moped theory exam?
The most important parts of the moped theory that you must know are, of course the traffic rules you should adhere to. This covers things like speed limits and priority rules. You also need enough knowledge of traffic insight and must be able to recognise dangerous situations and know how best to respond.
How long should you study for the scooter theory?
Although one-day courses are now available, it is definitely not advisable to set aside just one day for studying. You will have a much better chance of passing if you start studying a few weeks before the scooter theory exam. You do not need to study for hours on end, half an hour a day is enough to ensure that you pass the test.
