Meaning per category – C
These signs indicate a declaration of closure (no entry), one-way streets (entry from one direction only) and rush-hour lane openings.

C-2

You can also find sign C-2 at the end of an exit of the autoweg or motorway. It is then always combined with the supplementary plate ‘ga terug’ (go back), to prevent drivers driving in the wrong direction.

C-4
One-way street to the right. This sign is usually placed at a T-junction. In that case you are required to turn right.

C-5
Entry from both directions allowed. This sign is placed at streets that appear to be one-way streets, but where you are allowed to enter from both sides. For example, think of a parallel road next to the main carriageway.
