Hazard perception

The first section is about hazard perception. Per question, you will get eight seconds to think (even if you requested an extended or individual theory exam). For each question you must decide what you would do in that (photo) situation: brake, decelerate or nothing. Of the 25 questions you need at least 13 right answers.

Traffic knowledge

The second section is about traffic knowledge. You will get 12 questions. The questions consist of multiple-choice questions, questions where you need to answer with a number, drag- and point questions. You will get 7 minutes for this section (12 minutes if you have an extended or individual theory exam). You can move through the questions freely, answer them and correct them at a later time. You need at least 10 right answers in this section.

Traffic awareness

The thirst section is about traffic awareness. You will get 28 questions. The questions consist of multiple-choice questions, questions where you need to answer with a number, drag- and point questions. You will get 15 minutes for this section (25 if you have an extended or individual theory exam). You can move through the questions freely, answer them and correct them at a later time. You need at least 25 right answers in this section.

Practice exams for passenger car

With iTheorie, you will practice the theory exams in the exact same way the CBR theory exam is set up. The operation is identical to that of the CBR, so that during your course you already know exactly what to expect at the CBR. With iTheorie you will (contrary to the CBR) get to see which questions you did right and wrong. On top of that, you will get an extensive explanation with every question.

Extended or individual time

If you like to have some extra time during the CBR theory exam, you can choose to book an extended or individual exam. With an extended theory exam, you will have extra time and you will do the exam in the normal exam room at the CBR. With an individual exam you not only have extra time, but you will also do the exam in a different room. This way, you will not be distracted by others. There is an employee from the CBR with you, who can help you if you have troubles. With iTheorie you can also practice the theory exams with this extra time.

Dyslexia

With iTheorie, you can have the exams read out loud to you, just as at the CBR. This can be useful if you have dyslexia. You can also set the theory exam in a different font. This font is specially made for people with dyslexia.
